The European Pinball Championship 2025 is more than just a tournament
“Meeting point for the community”
The European Pinball Championship is THE European pinball tournament of the year. The IFPA (International Pinball and Pinball Association) recognizes this tournament with a Major title, giving it double the value.
This event is organized by a different country each year.
In 2025, this tournament will take place in Vöcklabruck, Upper Austria, Austria, about a month before the World Championships, which will be held in Badendorf, Styria, Austria.
Austria will therefore organize two mega pinball events in 2025.
In 2025, however, the EPC will be a COMMUNITY MEETING, as we offer many other highlights in addition to the 5 IFPA pinball tournaments.
Dune Pinball
The latest creation from Barrels of Fun at EPC 2025
On April 14, 2025 US time, Barrels of Fun introduced the Dune Flipper.
This is the 2nd masterpiece from the pinball factory in Houston Texas and includes new ingenious features that will be appreciated by all collectors.
These include:
– Horizon Atmospheric Lighting (HAL)
– EverGloss High-Gloss Decal Art with Metallic-Embedded Details
– Infinity Glass (Anti-Reflective Glass)
– Thunder From Down Under Shaker Motor
This model is already CE certified and we will get a pinball machine to us as soon as possible so that we can present it at the EPC 2025.
We will also try to get someone from the Barrels of Fun team to attend the event.

Homebrew pinball area
Do you want to present your homebrew pinball machine at the EPC?
We were asked by someone if we had enough space to display a homebrew pinball machine on the EPC.
This was of course answered with YES, so we are creating this post to motivate you to bring your projects to us in Vöcklabruck for the EPC from May 28 to June 1, 2025.

Abe Flips Sneak Peak at EPC
Mastering Pinball: In-Depth Skills and Strategies
We are happy to announce that Abe Flips is not only participating in the EPC with the goal of winning it, but also to give you a sneak peak of his Kickstarter project “Mastering Pinball: In-Depth Skills and Strategies”. He will also be available for a question and answer session.
Abe Flips is already well known in the pinball scene for the professional pinball turtorials he has been creating since 2021.
Last year he started a Kickstarter project that was successfully funded and so he is always working hard in his spare time to finish his movie “Mastering Pinball: In-Depth Skills and Strategies”.

Lego pinball machine
30th May 2025
Rolf Brisberger from Styria has spent countless hours building a fully functional Lego pinball machine.
This will be free for all participants to play on.
In addition, everyone who plays the pinball machine will receive a chocolate ball from the sponsor Confiserie Riegelein(https://www.riegelein.de/).
Why, you ask?
The answer is 42, and that’s just part of chocolate pinball.
Everyone can take part in the tournament. Children up to the age of 14 are given priority (for the 1st attempt). The net playing time is limited to 90 seconds or 3 balls. Whoever scores an extra ball gets an extra 10 seconds.
There will also be Lego prizes for the tournaments and consolation prizes. Thanks to Lego.
Melvin Brouwer from Dutch Pinball Exclusive is coming
30th May – 1st June 2025
Melvin Brouwer, Head of Design at Dutch Pinball Exclusive, has confirmed his participation in the event.
Melvin is responsible for the Alice Adventure in Wonderland pinball machine, which was presented by DPX at Pinball Expo 2024 and will start shipping in February 2025.
At the event we have all 3 Dutch Pinball titles for you on site
